Clinical Technicians

Our clinic technicians are regarded as some of the most caring, best trained, and knowledgeable eye care assistants in Central Florida! They directly assist our doctors in the medical, visual, and contact lens care of our patients. They administer tests and perform procedures ordered by our doctors, such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), visual field testing (peripheral vision), retinal digital photography, eye pressure measurement, macular pigment optical density testing (evaluation of the protective layer of the macula), corneal topography (measuring the shape of the cornea), and corneal pachymetry (corneal thickness measurement) as well as blood pressure, color vision testing, and depth perception testing. Our technicians also work directly with our contact lens patients, keeping up to date with the newest and most advanced contact lens technologies.

Our technicians are wonderfully calm and reassuring at helping our patients learn how to apply, remove and care for contacts for the first time, especially with our pre-teen contact lens patients!
