This office gets it right down to the last detail.  The staff is friendly and efficient, the offices in good condition and the doctors top notch.  I see both Drs. Barker as do my children and my husband.  Appointments are easy to make in a reasonable amount of time, I was seen within a few minutes and they don’t push you for unnecessary tests.  Their assortment of glasses range from very reasonable to as much as you want to spend.

I just had my first visit with the Eye Associates of Winter Park, and they truly exceeded my expectations in every department! The front desk is very polite, helpful and professional. The girl who took my vitals was really knowledgeable and skillful. Dr. G Barker did a thorough comprehensive exam, and the lady who helped me pick my glasses was super stylish and polished. She was also patient while helping me choose from their beautiful selection of glasses. This place is amazing! They really have it together from the moment you walk through the door until the moment you leave. I highly recommend!!

I’ve been to a lot of eye doctors but Dr. Barker is definitely the best. She is very accommodating and will do what it takes to get it right. I have very difficult eyes and she was able to get me the best pair of contacts for me without charging me a fortune for the various eye appointments and follow-ups.  They have gotten me in on short notice and even before regular hours! The staff is very professional and always accommodating as well.

This is a relatively small office. The best thing about it is the staff that are available to help you pick out a new pair of glasses. They have helped my husband and my self select attractive and stylish eyewear from their excellent selection. They are very patient and guide the process.

Before I found this place, eye exams made me so nervous. Having a doctor rush you to choose between two damn similar options is downright painful. And if you pick incorrectly, you will have to live with a bad prescription.

Dr. Sandra Barker couldn’t be more patient. You feel as if you’re visiting her home while cookies bake in the oven and she’s knitting an afghan. There’s no rush as she asks you to choose between “option one, and option two.” Feeling at ease, I’m able to help choose the contacts best for me. Plus, she’s been great about recommending contacts and solutions that provide the most comfort.

Dr. Sandra Barker is so pleasant and very thorough and patient. I had my first eye exam there about a month ago and was very pleased. State of the art equipment was used to measure the shape of my cornea to fit my contacts and then she spent a lot of time trying to determine my exact needs with contact wear. They are very accommodating with appointment times and the ancillary staff are very courteous and helpful. I was hesitant leaving my optometrist of 20 years (due to distance) but I feel I made a very good decision in choosing Eye Associates of Winter Park.

Dr. Kelley is an absolute joy! In addition to being very knowledgeable, she is very friendly (and understanding). I have a terrible time putting a contact in my right eye (and really haven’t needed to until recently). She was very patient with me. In addition, she offered me contact options (I am currently trying out daily wear contacts and so far really like them).

Eye Associates of Winter Park deserves your business.  A first class office with a first class staff.  I have never been in a facility like theirs; it is simply beautiful.  The Doctors are knowledgeable and friendly.  If you are considering using someone else, I strongly suggest you reconsider and give this wonderful locally owned business a chance to earn your trust.

I have been under the care of the Drs. Barker since they started in practice over 30 years ago.  They are pleasant, knowledgeable, use state of the art equipment, and know what to do with it.  Their staff is always well-trained and “on it”.  All in all they run a very good store in every aspect I can think of.  As a dentist my eyes are pretty important to me, just as yours are to you.  I cannot imagine that any other group could do as well for you as these people.

Just went for my annual a couple of days ago.  They are STILL the best ever!

I just moved to Florida, and I was looking for a place to get my yearly eye examination. I read past reviews that this place was good, and I definitely agree. The women behind the receptionist desk were extremely nice and helpful. Also, the doctors doing the eye examination were fantastic. They asked questions, carried on conversation, and made me feel comfortable. I did get my eyes dilated and they forgot to give me glasses before I left. I had never had my eyes dilated before so I didn’t know what to expect. I only made it across the street because I couldn’t see anything. I called and they apologized for not asking if I needed glasses and the lady walked across the street so I didn’t have to drive back and gave me glasses to wear. Even with that slightly terrifying experience, I still recommend them to anyone. I will be going back to them for every eye appointment from here on out!!

I have been a client of Eye Associates of Winter Park for 20 years now.  Dr. Sandra Barker is a kind, caring and wonderful doctor.  She has always taken time with me to be very thorough and ensure that I understand the health of my eyes and signs or symptoms to be aware of should there be changes.  Now I take my son to see her as well.  She was very patient with him and made him comfortable during the exam.  She also took a picture with him to remember his first eye exam which proudly hangs on our fridge.

Last but not least, Anna in the scheduling/billing department is so kind and sweet as pie.  I never mind paying my bill when she checks me out.  🙂

Dr. Kelley is amazing! Months prior to meeting Dr. Kelley, I had been expecting a decline in my vision, my optometrist at the time assumed it was as a result to an already existing medical condition with my eyes, so she did not look further into it and provided me no options. After meeting Dr. Kelley for the first time, she quickly identified the issue and referred me to a specialist for treatment. Now, my vision is improving and it’s due to Dr. Kelley’s thoughtful consideration of my medical needs. She is truly amazing and cares greatly about the wellbeing of her patients.

Let me start out by saying I was heartbroken when our insurance changed and I could no longer see the doctor I was seeing for a few years now.  I was worried about going to a new doctor because off other past bad experiences.  I have to say I was floored!  Not only were they understanding, they actually cared!  Very thorough examination, very courteous, caring and professional.  The doctor was able to tell me why my eyes have changed and answer all my questions without, and this is the important bit, making me feel rushed!  He was even willing to talk to me about my daughter.  Big bonus point there.  Thank you thank you thank you.  I do not regret my insurance changing.

Dr Sandra Barker is very thorough. She takes the time to explain everything. Dr Barker stays on top of the new technology to diagnose your eyes. I would not trust anyone else to take care of my eyes!  her service is 5 stars from start to finish.

My daughter (4 years old) and I have both seen Dr. Gary Barker. My daughter has seen many different doctors and specialists for various medical issues and Dr. Barker has been BY FAR her favorite! He was so incredibly amazing with her. If you are looking for an eye doctor for a young child or even yourself, I couldn’t think of a better person! I’ve had to bring her glasses in to get adjusted a few times and their staff has also been extremely friendly and helpful.
